Very good game in London last night.
London came out strong against EM and it was at least 25 minutes in before EM got their legs. London scored before half on a nice through ball and a strong finish.
In the second half, EM struck fast and took the lead within the first 10 minutes with a nice shot from outside the box that curled into the corner and on a cross that was poked in as it came to the keeper. EM had a much better second half and limited London's chances.
.........Final 2-1

In Ajax last night, Ajax started slowly down 1-0 to Oshawa but came back to score three unanswered goals. Second goal was a nice one. Third goal was on a PK. Didn`t see the first goal.
With about 15 min to go, ajax player received second yellow card. Oshawa couldn`t take advantage.
Saturday, we have a match of the undefeated, Erin Mills visiting Ajax. Should be a good one. Game reports would be appreciated. :P

Last night at Vic Park...Erin Mills 2- Brams 1...
Erin Mills came out strong and fast in the first half they were up 2..In the second half Brams played better and got 1 in the net, they had more chances but couldnt finish. Erin Mills also had more chances as well..It was a very physical game with 2 yellow cards givning out, one for each team and the ref having to stop play to give some warnings to players, coaches. I dont know what to say about the ref , missed handballs, pushes from behind; at one point the ball went out on the side and he is looking at the lines man and lines man looking at him and it was like,,ok let me go this way... :o PAY attention ref ...
One more game this sunday

Regarding the Oshawa/Ajax game the other night,Oshawa definitely dominated in the first half, scoring first and creating other close ones. Ajax seemed rattled and received 3 yellow cards. In the second half, Ajax came out more determined and scored a nice goal from the side. However, their second goal was definitely offside as we were calling it even before the player shot the ball. The Oshawa parents down at that end of the field could see without question that it should have been called. Don't know how on earth the linesman missed that one. The third goal for Ajax came on a (questionable?) penalty shot. Then when one of their players received a red card and was sent off, Oshawa was not able to come back. Tough game to lose, with 3 regulars missing and only 1 sub.

Tonight in Ajax

Ajax United 2 Richmond Hill 0

Nice fast game. Ajax scoring two lovely goals from some nice combinations both in the first half.

In the second half RH moved the ball well but were restricted outside the Ajax 18 yard box not really having much scoring chances. Ajax had several chances but the RH goalie made some nice saves.

Congrats indeed , good times and very well thought out from the coaching staff.
At U18 , the nationals , well ,,, it seems to lose its excitement especially when a large majority of the players are off to school therefore Erin Mills , two thumps up.

Great way to end the U17 season with the entire team in attendance.
Enjoy it !!!

Interesting game in Ajax last night.
Two equally talented teams.

Brams 2 Ajax United 1

Linesman twisted her ankle(?) tripping over herself LOL! Quite funny IMO. The game had to be stopped to tend to her. Then a parent from Ajax took on the duties to do the line.

Ajax scored first on a nice hustling play by there midfielder which the Brams keeper got a piece off but couldn't stop.
Brams then applied pressure to Ajax but couldn't come up with any goals until the second half.
A pk was awarded for a challenge just inside the 18 yard. The kick hit the crossbar and in the ensuing play, Brams player hit a nice shot from outside the 18 over the keepers head.
With less than a minute to go, Brams scored the winner. Ajax players stopped thinking it was offside but the ref waved them to play on but it was too late.
Both teams had chances but couldn't convert.

Mosquitoes were the big winner last night!! Ouch!

This year there will be no playoff games with the top 2 teams from each division advancing, but there will be a final game which will decide who will win the OYSL title. This final game will be played between the East division winner and the West division winner.

EM won a close one at Hershey tonight. Very entertaining game .....both teams played very well.... very good ball movement and strong defending. Too bad the officiating was not at the same level.
Final score 2-1
