CGSL L3 to L4D3

Postby RedDevilFan on Tue Feb 23, 2010 9:31 pm

I thought it time to open this up as teams gear up for the spring.

Anything going on out there. Are there players still trying out in centers.

I will start with I have heard Markham at L4 D2 may be looking for a new coach or may not be around much longer

Oshawa Turul played an exhibition game vs Ajax Strikers(1995) 4/4/2010. This team was League champs National champs and Ontario Cup champs in 2009. A very strong side even without their Provincial Players. Anyone see the game? If so how about a game report. Thanks.

Now the summer season of 2010 is quickly approaching. Is there any predictions on who will take the division and the CGSL Cup?
Let's open up the discussion and let the FUN begin :)

Prediction for L4 premiere

Wexford
Barrie
WoodBridge A
West rouge
Innisfil
Peterborough
Woodbridge B
South Simcoe

Just my humble opinion, may be off on the top 2 but the rest should be bang on.
Any other opinions. It's too quiet in here .
Good luck to all the teams this season .

Good for you for getting this thread restarted Coleman.
Let me have a go.

Barrie
Wexford
Peterborough
Innisfil
Woodbridge A
West Rouge
South Simcoe
Woodbridge B

Since you've got me started lets get some thoughts as to how Level 3 will turn out this year. I expect a very close race and Unionville to gain promotion at the end of the year. Top 5 spots very hard to call.

Unionville
Vaughan
Etobicoke
Oshawa Turul
NY Hearts
Whitby
Richmond Hill
Sudbury
Aurora

Let the games begin tonight and good luck ladies.

Just got in to town around an hour ago, took a look around me which way the wind blow, but was updated with changes.....Unionville has some in-house issues, Etobicoke has number issues, Vaughan never has number issues, seems VS is on to his 19th new player in just under 3 seasons, that bench is like a Revolving door, Oshawa Turul lost their goalie from last season and Richmond Hill lost their two top players.Aurora went through a major overhaul. NY Hearts finished 3rd last year, will they be able to hold top 3 and heard they have no new faces? Whitby, hear they have some new players, will it be enough to stay in L3? Sudbury welcome back to L3.....Whew, let me catch my breath but here goes

Unionville
Vaughan
North York Hearts Azzurri
Etobicoke
Oshawa
Whitby
Richmond Hill
Aurora
Sudbury

Glad to be back

I've been very impressed with what I've seen from both Vaughan and Unionville, both sides outplaying current OYSL teams in recent weeks. Would be very surprised if the L3 title doesn't go to one of these two teams.

My guess past the two favourites:

Unionville
Vaughan
Etobicoke
Hearts
Oshawa
Richmond Hill
Aurora
Whitby
Sudbury

NYHearts 1- Vaughan 1

Spirited game where NYhearts took the lead in the first half, Vaughan tied it up in the second half. For those other L3 teams Vaughan is a pretty solid team who never give up and keep playing hard.

Good Luck to all teams this season

FINALLY OUTDOOR HAS BEGUN!!!!
My predictions for the three top teams are Unionville,Vaughan,NY Hearts. It will be a very interesting and a good game of soccer to watch all summer long. I think that this division is going to be a hard but strong competition!!
Good Luck to all the teams.

No score from the Aurora A vs Etobicoke game on CGSL website.
Anyone care to shed some light on the score, please.
